Getting a stew going | Recipe

Still in a cherry mood! 🙂 As I could not handle enjoying the huge amount of cherries all at once I decided on making a stew out of them as this would last longer. However, this recipe works for any fruit.


  • Cherries
  • Water
  • Lemon cest
  • Freshly squeezed lemon
  • Pinch of sugar

How to:

  1. Cut the cherries into halves and peel out the Stone
  2. Drizzle cherries with lemon
  3. Add lemon cest, sugar and fresh water before setting on the stove. Pour enough water so the cherries are almost covered.
  4. Set pot on the stove for around 20 minutes and let broil on medium heat.
  5. Enjoy!

Be quick, the season is almost over!
