Still in a cherry mood! 🙂 As I could not handle enjoying the huge amount of cherries all at once I decided on making a stew out of them as this would last longer. However, this recipe works for any fruit.
- Lemon cest
- Freshly squeezed lemon
- Pinch of sugar
- Cut the cherries into halves and peel out the Stone
- Drizzle cherries with lemon
- Add lemon cest, sugar and fresh water before setting on the stove. Pour enough water so the cherries are almost covered.
- Set pot on the stove for around 20 minutes and let broil on medium heat.
